When the West Lake breeze meets denim, you know it's about to get good. On May 21–22, at the Hangzhou KINGPINS SHOW, GKL Denim Textile put fabric front and center, sparking conversations about all things denim with everyone who stopped by.

No flashy slogans—just the real deal you could actually feel. The kind of details worth reaching out and touching for yourself drew crowds of visitors who lingered, traded ideas, and soaked in the beauty of denim while exploring where trends and innovation are heading next.

From gold to denim—how did the color blue take over the world? Buyers and brands brought their best ideas to the table, trading insights and firing off inspiration as they searched for the next big breakthrough in the future of denim.

Putting Heart into Denim

GKL Denim took a creative, artsy approach to giving back—and it was nothing short of inspiring. At one corner of the booth, a curated collection of denim pieces and upcycled goods was on display. Visitors could take home a one-of-a-kind denim piece with its own story, or roll up their sleeves and, with a little guidance from the team, deconstruct and reassemble denim into something entirely new. These reimagined creations breathed fresh life into old garments, turning them into pieces with a future.

GKL Denim teamed up with KINGPINS to donate 100% of the proceeds to One Foundation (with a public disclosure to follow within 15 business days), providing safe drinking water for children in mountain communities. Sustainability went from a buzzword to a real, tangible promise—one that felt as warm as the fabrics themselves. These heartfelt moments, woven right alongside the threads and textures, became some of the most unforgettable highlights of the show.

During the live-streamed portion of the show, GKL Denim 's charity sale struck a chord with viewers. Fans flooded the comments and DMs with orders, and many said they'd be jumping in on future charitable initiatives too.
