The percentage and type of elastane are carefully calibrated based on the intended end-use; for instance, "super stretch" formulations may contain higher elastane content for skinny and jeggings styles, ensuring they retain their form without bagging out, while "comfort stretch" with a lower percentage is used in straight-leg or boot-cut designs for enhanced mobility without sacrificing a rigid denim appearance. GKL's proprietary finishing techniques, including controlled pre-heat setting and sanforization, lock in the stretch properties, ensuring consistent performance through multiple wash cycles.
